Moisture vapor barrier base coat

How we install a solid epoxy floor
Every solid epoxy install starts with a mechanical grind. We run a concrete grinder with diamond puck attachments and choose the grit off a scratch test of your slab. The grind cuts a pore profile into the concrete, and that profile is what bonds the coating to the floor. No grind, no bond. Cracks and chips get filled, spalled areas get a self-leveling repair product, and saw-cut joints stay untouched.
Grind, repair, base coat
Mechanical grind, crack and spall repair, then the moisture vapor barrier base coat. It cures fully overnight.
Topcoat
The urethane topcoat goes down and the floor is done. Two days, start to finish.
